Liz is a fun-loving, passionate individual dedicated to a life of adventure, hard work, determination, and rich experiences. She spends her days as a Sales Representative for Gore Bike Wear and her weekends as a professional mountain biker representing Yeti Cycles, Smith Optics, and Industry Nine. Liz is also the co-founder behind Burning Bike and the Strider Huge Rock Enduro.
Though Liz has been a bike rider for most of her life, she didn’t start REALLY mountain biking until she moved to Truckee, CA. It was there that she got accustomed to hard, strenuous climbs, only to turn around and descend trying to keep up with her fast and acclimated friends. Upon moving to Colorado in 2012, she quickly got into the mountain bike scene there. She invested in a Yeti SB6c, which to this day is worth more than her car, and committed to riding as much as possible. One week after she received her bike, she broke her collarbone. The injury took her out for 5-7 weeks, but as soon as she got back on her bike, she was ready to shred. Liz got into racing Enduro for the spirit and community around the events, and has never looked back.
Currently, Liz is a Yeti Ambassador and more than delighted to be a VIDA MTB Ambassador. She spreads the love for many things including the hashtag #ladyshred and loves introducing new riders to mountain biking through coaching. She is passionate about women's cycling and outdoor sports... As well as Little Red Wagon Coffee which she drinks religiously every morning, and you should also know that she has no problem wearing dangling, sometimes sparkling earrings from Wild Balance Jewelry while riding bikes.
