Lindsey grew up along the Front Range of Colorado with soccer being her world. After playing college soccer and a short stint with a semi-pro team in Denver, she landed herself a part-time gig at REI (for the deals of course) and traded soccer for outdoor adventure sports. Little did she know that her passion for mountain biking would start there in 2009. A co-worker built her up a Sette hardtail with a RockShox Judy fork and “the boys” taught her to mountain bike. Although she spent most of the time crashing and flailing down the trail, she loved it nonetheless and couldn’t get enough. In 2010, she became involved with the Women’s Mountain Biking Association of Colorado Springs (WMBA) and found some badass ladies to ride with. It was here she fell in love with mountain biking, bought a full-suspension bike, joined the WMBA race team, and got a job in the cycling industry.
Since 2010, Lindsey has been dabbling in racing (mostly Enduro) and volunteering with WMBA leading group rides throughout the summer. She also has a rad day job at SRAM in Colorado Springs which allows her to see the cycling industry from a different perspective and spend lots of quality time on her bike. Between WMBA, SRAM and VIDA Lindsey is encouraged daily by the direction and progress of women’s mountain biking as a whole.
